VIDEO: Why do we need to program a TPMS sensor? ATEQ TPMS Tech Tips

When a TPMS sensor is damaged or the battery dies, it must be replaced by an OEM or aftermarket sensor. However, before the new sensor ID’s can be relearned to the vehicle’s ECU, the aftermarket sensor must be programmed.

The ATEQ VT36 and VT56 have the capability to program the highest quality and most well-known aftermarket sensors in the industry. Depending on the sensor you are working with, you can copy the existing ID’s before performing a TPMS relearn.
